Jets Lose Practice Squad Center to Broncos
Well, it looks like somebody thinks quite highly of Jets practice squad center Nico Falah who was signed away to the Denver Broncos active roster yesterday.
Just over a week ago, it was reported that the Jets had given Falah a pay raise in an effort to retain him on the club’s practice squad instead of getting poached by another NFL team. However, it seems the Broncos are in need of some depth on their interior and Falah was their target.
Broncos signed rookie OL @NicoFalah off #Jets practice squad.
I’m surprised NYJ didn’t sign Falah to the 53 to prevent it. Former USC center had been practicing at guard. A lot of potential.

Just the other day we looked at how the Jets are paying a premium for four practice squad players with Falah being one of them after teams had expressed interest in the former USC product.
