Jamal Adams not Happy With Criticism for Penalty; Fires Back

As if things didn’t go poorly enough for Jets safety Jamal Adams and the rest of the Jets secondary on Sunday, the safety took to twitter to respond to some criticism he received for an unnecessary roughness call in the fourth quarter.  With the game all but over, Adams wrapped up Jags receiver Dede Westbrook and threw him to the ground after the whistle, something Westbrook wasn’t thrilled with.

Having learned about Westbrook’s comments, saying he thought Adams was out of line, Adams responded in a tweet, saying, “Dawg, I told yo ass after the game I didn’t hear the whistle.  You still trynna run the rock so whatcha expect me to do…let go?  Nahhhh, I play this game full speed at all times.  Remember too pimp, I got a family to feed as well.  Plus more!  LUV

Taking a beef public on twitter isn’t the best look for a player who has been named a captain, but Adams is young and likely to learn from his mistake.
