After an off-season of big talk and bold predictions, it seems Jets safety Jamal Adams didn’t have much to say after his team’s embarrassing 21-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Several Jets beat writers noted that while Adams did an interview with SNY following the game, he headed for the exits and the local scribes were told he would not be returning.
It’s a bad look for a “face of the franchise” type of player, and unfortunate because Adams has been playing very well thus far in his second season.
It’s entirely possible that something more pressing arose, but if that’s not the case, and if Adams wants to be taken seriously as a leader, he should expect to have to stick around and answer the tough questions when things don’t go well.
