Jets @ Detroit Lions Road Trip; Bus Trip, Tickets & Tailgating

The Jets open the season in Detroit on Monday night football. JetNation will be there and you can join us. The Stadium Events has put together a bus trip that includes round trip transportation, hotel accommodations, game tickets and a pregame tailgate. Space is limited, so book your trip soon. We have gone on trips with them before, we know the owner, Todd, and it is going to be a great trip.

This is a two-night trip, all of the information is below. Please note, this trip is being run by The Stadium Events, we are going on it and promoting it. New York Jets @ Detroit Lions Ford Field, Detroit, MI

Rough Itinerary: 

Sunday – Depart Long Island at 5am, Manhattan at 6:15am and Secaucus, NJ at 6:45am.

Historic JET & NFL DVD’s, Movies and  Sitcoms along the way.  Kick back, recline your seat and enjoy the ride!!  Meal Stop around Noon.  Arrive at the Hotel by 5pm.  The Hotel is located on Jefferson Ave Downtown and close to many Eating/Drinking/Shopping Establishments.  The People Mover goes right through the Hotel and takes you to the Main Areas Downtown.  You’ll see plenty of Jet Players walking around the Hotel as it is where the Opposing Teams stay!!  Dinner at Hockeytown Cafe, Gamble at MGM Casino, Nightlife in Greektown!!  Enjoy your first night in the Motor City!!

Monday at 10am you have the option to take a Bus Tour of Detroit, including stops at all 3 Casinos Downtown, Joe Louis Arena, Lunch at Hockey Town Cafe, Pictures at the Joe Louis Fist Statue, and check out the Old Tiger Stadium Grounds.  We will return to the Hotel by 2pm where you can take a short rest before gearing up for Monday Night!!  At 2:45 we will make the short drive to Eastern Market for a 3 Hour Pre Game Party!!  We will enjoy our Tailgate from 3 – 6 getting our Jet Nation Game Faces on!!  You can make the short walk to Ford Field or take the Shuttle from Eastern Market to Ford Field.  Take some pictures….Purchase some souvenirs….Settle in for some Football….Season Opening Style!!

Tuesday we will head for home around 8am.  Kick back and enjoy Movies and more Football DVD’sfor the ride…and catch up on your sleep you missed this weekend!!  We will make a Lunch Stop around Noon and a short Dinner Stop around 4pm.
