Jets Waive 4 Players
The NY Jets announced a few minor roster moves today. They have waived Jeremy Langford (RB), Joel Stave (QB), Jahad Thomas (RB) and Daniel Williams (WR).
Langford joined the Green & White’s practice squad on Dec. 8 and signed a reserve/future contract with the team in January. The former Bear has rushed for 737 yards and 10 touchdowns in his career.
The Jets signed Stave to their practice squad on Dec. 12 and he signed a reserve/future contract the following month.
A Temple product, Thomas first joined the Jets towards the end of training camp last year and was waived before the regular season. He spent time on and off the practice squad throughout the season and was promoted to the active roster for Week 17.
Williams signed with the team in August of 2017, but didn’t make the 53-man roster. The Jackson State product signed a reserve/future contract in January.
