Report: Jets to Host Once Troubled, Highly Touted Prospect
While players targeted in the first round of the NFL draft garner the majority of the coverage leading up to the event, sometimes it’s the long shot late-round pick, or sometimes the undrafted free agent diamond in the rough who allows teams to find real value.
In trying to unearth such prospects, NFL clubs annually hold a local day in which they can interview and work out players within a specific distance from their facility.
According to one insider, one name worth watching will be defensive end Ebenezer Ogundeko of Tennessee State.
Kristian Dyer of Metro is reporting that Ogundeko, a highly touted prospect from Brooklyn who spent time at Clemson, will be at the Jets facility in Florham Park for their local day.

According to Dyer, Ogundeko was dismissed from Clemson following the fraudulent use of a credit card. During his time at Tennessee State, Ogundeko piled up 138 tackles and 14.5 sacks.
