Jets Activate Rookie Defensive Back Jeremy Clark

According to multiple sources, the Jets have activated rookie defensive back Jeremy Clark who was a sixth round draft choice (197th overall) out of Michigan this year.

It was believed that Clark could spend the entire season on the Non-football injury (NFI) list, but he’s now active and an option to get some action late in the season.

A cornerback at Michigan, the 6′ 3” 220 lb Clark could challenge for playing time with Darryl Roberts and Rashard Robinson already splitting reps opposite Morris Claiborne.  Some have speculated that Clark could be looked at as a part-time safety as well.

In addition to adding Clark, the Jets waived CB Robert Nelson while placing recently signed wide receiver Tre McBride on the injured list and signed running back Jeremy Langford in his place.
