Pair of Jets Recognized for Outstanding Performances vs Dolphins
After what was easily the Jets’ best defensive effort of the season against the Miami Dolphins, defensive back Terrance Brooks was named AFC defensive player of the week for his two interception performance in the team’s home opener, and pro football focus has now recognized linebacker Demario Davis as their top defensive player of the week.

Davis had what may have been his best game as a pro, setting the tone early on and picking up 12 tackles (11 solo) with three of them going for loss.
Now Davis and Brooks will look to build on their efforts as the Jets prepare to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at 1:00.
