Preseason Post-Game Recap: Jets lose to Giants, 32-31
At MetLife Stadium, the New York Jets faced the New York Giants in the third game of the preseason. The game was a tale of two Jets quarterbacks, Christian Hackenberg and Bryce Petty. Hackenberg got the start and underwhelmed early. Petty took over and led the offense to three touchdowns before going down with a left knee injury that will require an MRI. Hackenberg returned to the game and rallied the team with a late score.

DE Sheldon Richardson continues to have a good preseason. He got in the face of Giants QB Eli Manning which enabled CB Juston Burris to make an interception.
The Jets had good secondary coverage in the end zone, albeit against an offense without its top two wide receivers, Odell Beckham Jr. and ex-Jet Brandon Marshall.
