The New York Jets schedule has been released. They open up on the road (Buffalo) and then head to Oakland for week two. We will have a complete schedule breakdown soon but some immediate thoughts are:
Good to get the west coast trip out of the way early.
The first five weeks always seem to be rough, but the Jets have winnable games in that stretch. A fast start is going to be imperative.
Week 10 (11/12) Jets at Tampa. That is a road tip everyone in the northeast can enjoy!
Christmas Eve at home is nice. Rough trip for the Chargers having to travel across the country for a 1pm east coast start. The Jets definitely made out on that deal.
Week 17 versus the Patriots. In order to be the best, you have to beat the best. Or at least find a way to stop them from cheating. 🙂

I started JetNation in 2005 and have been a New York Jets season ticket holder since graduating from high school. My dream is to see the New York Jets win the Super Bowl. Until then, I will be right here on JetNation writing, dreaming and talking NY Jets football.
