Continuing to look to add depth at the linebacker position due to lack of production and multiple injures, the New York Jets have added Los Angeles Rams practice squad linebacker Randell Johnson .
A former seventh round draft choice of the Buffalo Bills in the 2014 NFL draft, Johnson played his college ball at Florida Atlantic where he racked up 195 tackles and 9.5 sacks in four seasons.
The 6′ 3” 244 lb Johnson has played sparingly over his first two pro seasons, logging just one start, picking up 2 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries.
To make room for Johnson, the Jets parted ways with recently added linebacker Arthur Brown.
