Jets add WR Joe Anderson to Practice Squad
By Glenn Naughton
With one spot on their practice squad still remaining open following the promotion of linebacker Taiwan Jones last week, the New York Jets filled the vacancy today by adding former Chicago Bears wide receiver Joe Anderson.
Anderson, a 6′ 1” undrafted free agent who once stood outside of NRG Stadium in Houston, holding up a sign asking for a job as an NFL receiver, played alongside current Jets wideout Brandon Marshall with the Bears where he didn’t log any receptions, but did return 5 kickoffs for 82 yards back in 2013.
Jets fans are sounding off on this move in our New York Jets forum.
