The New York Jets and the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE)

The New York Jets and the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) will be working together again this season. This is the third year the boys in green will be teaming up with chefs from ICE for cooking classes. Fans can experience beer tastings, and the opportunity to learn grilling techniques and new recipes. They get a hands-on experience in the kitchen with professional chefs, and a chance to cook with their favorite Jets players. Afterwards, everyone has time to sit and enjoy their meal and talk to fellow fans.

Always a success, these classes take place once a month. This year, classes will be held at the brand new ICE facility located in Brookfield Place in lower Manhattan on Liberty Street. The 74,000 square  foot facility boats gorgeous views of the Hudson River and the World Trade Center Memorial. The first and last classes will be at MetLife Stadium. This year also marks ICE’s 40th anniversary. Chase is offering an exclusive experience for all Chase cardholders participating in the Jets Cooking School. For more details, please visit www.ice.edu/jets.

Supporting partners for the 2015 Jets Cooking School include Banville Wine Merchants, Celebrity Cruises, Kingsford, Miller Lite, Premio and Wusthof.

JetNation will be there to take part in these fun and educational classes. We will keep you posted as the date nears for each class. We encourage fans to attend – you will leave wanting more!

My passion as a Jets fan led me to be a writer for JetNation.com. Social media then grew to be a popular way for fans to see Jets news. We knew we needed to use those outlets to reach different audiences who were Jets fans. I then became the social media manager for JetNation.com.
