After brining in free agent offensive tackle Corey Hilliard for a workout earlier this week, the New York Jets have announced the signing of the 6′ 6” 330 lb. Oklahoma State Alum.
Hilliard had just twelve career starts heading in to the 2014 season and was placed on injured reserve following a linsfranc foot injury during Detroit’s season opener against the New York Giants.
Mike Maccagnan continues to load up on offensive linemen as Hilliard’s signing brings the number of linemen currently on the Jets roster to fourteen.
The Jets also made the signing of defensive lineman Kevin Vickerson official following media reports of his addition earlier this week.
