Players To Watch: Steelers
Each week JetNation will feature three players from the Jets opponent to watch. This week, the Steelers…
1) Martavis Bryant, WR: Everyone knows about how great Antonio Brown is, but Bryant appears to be the missing piece for this passing attack. After missing the first six weeks, Bryant has proven to be a downfield and red zone threat, catching five touchdowns in his first three games. Bryant is also averaging 16.7 yards per reception. The Jets must be weary of the different element Bryant brings to the offense.
2) Heath Miller, Tight End: Miller has been Roethlisberger’s security blanket for a decade now and is putting together another solid season. With all the weapons Pittsburgh has, Miller is often the forgotten man. While he’s certainly no longer in his prime, Miller’s 35 receptions for 401 yards and two touchdowns is nothing to sleep on. Miller will do a lot of his damage in the middle of the field.
3) James Harrison, OLB: Yes, that James Harrison is back in the league and playing like it’s 2008 all over again. Due to a plethora of defensive injuries, the Steelers signed Harrison after week three and he’s performing at a high level. In six games, Harrison has four sacks and has been solid against the run.
