Michael Campbell played in four games this season with the Jets but he did not seem to make enough impact for the Jets coaches to keep him on the roster. His release may also hint at the fact that recently acquired wide receiver Greg Salas is ready to go for Sunday’s game versus the New Orleans Saints.

Rontez Miles came on the Jets practice squad on April 27th of this year as an undrafted free agent out of California University of Pa. The 24 year old Safety is listed as 6’1″ , 210 Lbs and was likely lifted off the practice squad so he can help out the Jets secondary for when they go up against one of the league’s best passers this Sunday.
