Geno Smith Injures Ankle

Geno Smith injured his ankle during the 3rd quarter of the Jets preseason game against the Detroit Lions.  The injury occurred as Geno scrambled for a short gain.  He walked off the field with a limp and the trainers taped his right ankle on the sideline.  Greg McElroy took over at QB and later in the 3rd quarter Geno Smith went into the locker room.  He walked off the field on his own and we will have more updates on this injury as information is released.

Geno Smith was 6/7 passing for 47 yards on the game, with a 94.6 QB Rating.
