Round seven pick rookie wide receiver Jordan White has swelling in his knee and may not play in the upcoming preseason game (9/18) against the Giants.
Rookie Jordan White developed knee swelling and might not play Saturday night against the Giants.
White led college football Division 1-A in receptions and yards during his final season at Western Michigan and was also an accomplished punt returner. The Jets, dealing with many injured receivers, were hoping that White would emerge after missing most of the offseason with a foot injury.
“I was feeling good about him (White) and then his knee swells up,” Rex Ryan said Thursday in his final Cortland news conference.
Playing six years at Western Michigan, redshirting as a freshman and earning another year of eligibility due to medical hardship, White injured the ACL in both knees during his time in college.
