Well a couple days after complaining about being overworked WR Santonio Holmes tweaked his hamstring so he wasn’t able to participate in Tuesday’s practice. Holmes did however work off on the side with the rehab group so the injury isn’t severe.
The same can be said for rookie Stephen Hill as he also missed out on Tuesday’s practice with a tight hamstring stating that it was just some tightness and he didn’t want to push it.
New Jets safety LaRon Landry also missed practice since he was part of the rehab group that was off to the side during practice. He has yet to participate in a team practice.
LG Matt Slauson participated in his first practice of the year coming off of offseason shoulder surgery. He practiced at RG since Brandon Moore was at his daughter’s graduation. Vlad Ducasse filled in at LG.
Safety Yeremiah Bell is adjusting to the team easily as teammates have made his transition to the Jets defense smooth as he learns the system.
