Jets Fans, Did This Violate Bro-Code?
We received this email today and we need Jet Nation to help us answer it. The question is a simple one, was this a violation of the coveted bro-code that men should be living their life by?
Dear JetNation.com,
I was at a bar watching the Jets play the Packers last Sunday when something happened that I don’t think was right. Our crew has been going to the same place for a few years now. Shamadayo’s is our escape from reality since we live down south and are not able to see the Jets play in person. The place has big screen TVs everywhere and it is the only Jets bar in the area.
The game was not good. None of us were happy. Over the past 12 years we have seen our share of bad Jets moments. Yet the bro-code is always our compass. It gets us through the tough times because all respect each other. Ron was different this week. Sure we all wanted Schotty to run the ball more. Sure we were disappointed that Sanchez couldn’t get the ball to J-Cotch in a good spot. Yes, we knew that J-Cotch would be blamed for drops even though that just isn’t possible.
But with seconds winding down, Ron thew $40 on the bar and said I am done with you b*tches. I am done with this team. Then he left and hasn’t responded to any of our text messages or emails.
This seems like a clear violation of bro-code. Tell us if we are right.
We have some thoughts on this but ultimately we will let Jet Nation decide. Some things that we ask you consider is the use of the word bitches. Not really feeling that one. Also, slamming your money down on the bar and not checking to see if you left enough is never a cool thing.
Was this a violation of bro-code? Please tell us what you think.
