1. New York Jets
The Jets got a road win against a motivated home team. The running game produced when it needed to, and they got a game-winning drive behind Sanchez. All are key pieces to a big post season run.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers got good production from their rusty quarterback. Sure, it was Cleveland, but that’s bad news for the rest of the league.
3. New England Patriots
Branch made some big plays, and the Patriots came back to win against a major AFC contender.
4. Baltimore Ravens I’m not dropping the Ravens after a loss. It might seem wrong, but if you consider that they’ve already played road games at the Jets, Bengals, Steelers, and Patriots their body of work is pretty impressive thus far.
5. Atlanta Falcons The Falcons got beat up in Philly, but following the same reasoning as the Ravens, Atlanta has played roadies in Pittsburgh, New Orleans, and Philly.
6. Indianapolis Colts Collie was great in Garcon’s absence, but Garcon really changes the dynamic for the Colt offense. They get a bye week to figure out how to stop the Texan’s running game.
7. New York Giants The Lions kept things closer than they should have been allowed to Sunday. Still, the Giants can make a solid case for top honors in the NFC thus far.
8. New Orleans Saints The poor Bucs got slammed with a lot of the Saints offensive frustration on Sunday. The Saints should get another week to fine tune things with Cleveland coming to town this week.
9. Philadelphia Eagles While people focus on who is playing quarterback, it’s really the Eagles defense that will dictate how successful they are. They can score with Kolb or Vick calling signals.
10. Tennessee Titans If the Titans can beat the Eagles on Sunday, they will be 3-0 so far against the NFC East.
