Jay Feely Signs With Cardinals

Unrestricted free agent kicker Jay Feely has signed with the Arizona Cardinals. Manish Mehta posted this update on twitter:

The Jets never seemed to pursue Jay Feely, possibly because of the final 8 restrictions. The Jets were unable to sign any unrestricted free agents unless they lose one of their own. This frees the Jets up to sign a mid tier free agent because salary restrictions still apply under the final 8 rules.

Nick Folk is the front runner to be the Jets kicker next season. The Jets signed the ex-Cowboys kicker in late February. Tell us what you think about the Jets kicking situation in our NFL Forum.
