The Vikings need to figure out how to get Adrian Peterson and the ground game going again. Despite all the talk about Favre, this is a running team first.
5. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are the NFC’s version of the Chargers – red hot and steamrolling toward the playoffs.
6. New England Patriots
You have to wonder if this team has the extra gear they’ll need when the playoffs start.
7. Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals traveled across the country under difficult circumstances and nearly knocked off the hottest team in the league.
8. Green Bay Packers
The Packers snatched defeat from the jaws of victory on Sunday. The defense was as bad as their offense was good.
9. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys showed everyone some character on Saturday night. That kind of win can carry you a long way. We’ll see if they can build on it.
10. Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals have discovered a ground game. If they can get all the pieces in place at the same time, they can play well into January. The talent is there for another Super Bowl run.
