1. New Orleans Saints
The Saints are good enough to win without playing well.
2. Indianapolis Colts
It took a classic coaching blunder, but the Colts got the win. They need to figure out why they have to always come back late against the Pats.
3. Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings were hardly tested by the visiting Lions. Favre might be in line for MVP consideration if Brees and Manning weren’t playing so well.
4. Cincinnati Bengals
Sunday’s win in Pittsburgh was as big and as impressive as the Bengals have had in quite a few years.
5. Pittsburgh Steelers The Steelers have no excuses for losing to Cincinnati. The pass rush again caused issues for defending champs.
6. New England The Pats let the Colts off the hook once more. They will likely need to travel to Indy again if they want to return to the Super Bowl.
7. Arizona Cardinals The Cardinals are clearly the class of the NFC West, but there lagging behind the Saints and Vikings at this point in the season.
8. San Diego Chargers The Chargers are back from the dead and ready to capitalize on Denver’s collapse.
9. Dallas Cowboys The Cowboys offense really struggles against defense that can cover receivers well. Roy Williams is simply not the player Dallas thought he was. A number one wideout is badly needed in Big-D.
10. Denver Broncos This could be the last week in the top ten for Denver unless than can end the free fall they are experiencing. I wonder how good this team would be if Jay Cutler was still under center.
