NFL Top Ten – Week Seven
By Nick Ferraro
1. Indianapolis Colts
No news to report here.
2. New Orleans Saints
It wasn’t exactly how they drew it up, but a road win is a road win. The Saints can still outscore teams if they need to.
3. Denver Broncos
The Broncos had an extra week to prepare for a tough road game in Baltimore.
4. Pittsburgh Steelers
On a slow day for the offense, the Steelers got the big plays on defense that they needed to win.
5. New England
The Pats are rolling through the junior varsity portion of their schedule.
6. Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings had every chance to win on Sunday and found ways to lose instead. Sunday’s game in Green Bay needs to mean more than just the media hype about Favre going back to Green Bay. The Packers pull into a tie for first in the division with a win.
7. Arizona Cardinals
The Cards got a win in primetime on the East coast against a top team. That’s something they had not done before.
8. New York Giants
The Giants now play a road game in Philly after letting control of the division slip away.
9. Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals are winning by being more physical up front than their opponents.
10. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys found some chemistry they were missing on offense after inserting Miles Austin into the starting lineup.
