1. Indianapolis Colts
That’s two straight road-wins for the Colts. The defense showed up this time and played well in shutting down the Cardinals.
2. New York Giants
The Giants dominated the Bucs in a fashion that is rarely seen in the NFL.
3. Baltimore Ravens
The new high-octane Ravens are scoring 34 points per game. Flacco has 839 yards passing and six TDs through three games.
4. New York Jets
The Jets have had as impressive an opening to their season as anyone in the league.
5. Minnesota Vikings It took a miracle, but the Vikings got it done against a solid opponent. They need more production during the first 59 minutes of the game to take the next step.
6. New Orleans Saints The Saints played defense on Sunday. That’s a little scary for the rest of the league.
7. New England Patriots Sunday was much more in line with preseason expectations. Many people were predicting that a solid Falcon team would win in New England.
8. Philadelphia Eagles The Eagles have all their toys in play with Vick eligible. The most important piece is still McNabb. They don’t need him against KC, but they will if they want to challenge the Giants.
9. Chicago Bears Cutler is showing people why you need a franchise quarterback in this league. Since the opening night nightmare in Green Bay, Cutler has five TDs and one INT, and the Bears have two straight wins on late touchdown drives.
10. Atlanta Falcons The Falcons got shut down by a desperate Patriot team. It would have been a huge win, but it didn’t happen. They get a bye week to try to figure out how to score on a good defense before they face a solid 49er team on the road.
