No training camp is without its share of bumps and bruises. The Jets are heading into the season without Calvin Pace (4 game suspension) and Shaun Ellis might be suspended for the opener as well. This week the NY Jets offensive line is taking a pounding.
Center Nick Mangold was hurt on Sunday and Scout.com is reporting:
Jets center Nick Mangold watched the Tuesday morning practice with a medical sleeve and a brace on his right knee. He’s probably going to miss the rest of two-a-days, but should be ready for the season.
Tackle Damien Woody was hurt on Monday.
RT Damien Woody was injured in the morning practice, and taken into the locker room by Dr. Ken Montgomery. He had a towel over his head, and he looked a little out of it, so it might be a head injury. Wayne Hunter took over at RT.
