Westhoff Back On Monday

Dave Hutchinson of the Newark Star Ledger is reporting that Mike Westhoff could be back with the team as soon as Monday.  Westhoff who is widely regarded as one of the best special team coaches in the business would be a huge addition to the staff.

A return this week would mean that he was back for the season opener in Miami.  On August 23rd his possible return was first mentioned.

Kevin O’Dea would remain with the team in a different capacity.  Kick returners Justin Miller and Leon Washington would have to be thrilled with this move.  Miller was hurt last year but they have both played at a very high level under Coach Mike the past few years.
