Jets Lose Again, Fall To 3 And 10

Did you really come here to read a game recap?  Really?  If you just answered yes to that question you need to take a look at things.  It may be time to start making some changes.  After losing to the Browns the Jets are now 3 and 10.  You watched the game, you lived through the failed comeback attempt in the 4th quarter.  Now you want to read more about it?  Step away from the keyboard, slowly.

Okay, since you insist, the score was 24 – 18.  The Jets did what they have done all year, they lost a close game.  The offensive line remains inconsistent, Bryan Thomas is invisible and the coaching leaves a lot to be desired.

The Jets had more first downs, had the ball longer, more passing yards and Thomas Jones ran for over 100.  Yet, the game wasn’t as close as it looked.  A bad interception by Clemens in the end zone took certain points off the board for the Jets early in the game.  Their failure to convert on 3rd down (2 of 12) and a steady dose of Jamal Lewis )21 for 118) was more than the Jets could handle on this day.
