Jets Change Name, Lose Again
The Titans of New York were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles 16 to 9. The mini-titans fall to 1 and 5 after another lackluster performance.
The Jets were able to run the ball early and Thomas Jones had 24 carries for 130 yards on the day. But their allergic reaction to the end zone continues as no titan, or NY Jet player, dared crossed the goal line with the ball in their hand. Chad Pennington was 11 for 21 passing with 128 yards and 1 interception. I am no expert but you are not going to win many games with a performance like that.
After the game Eric Mangini stated again that Chad remains the starting QB. Kellen Clemens apparently has the best job possible. Because no matter how badly his services are needed there remains very little chance on them asking him to do any work. Sweet deal actually, kudos to Kellen’s agent. Stay tuned for the JetNation.com Report Card.
