Mean Giants Beat Green Jets
Today, our brave little warriors traveled to the visiting sideline at Giants stadium to take on Big Blue. Despite the Jets best efforts they were not able to secure a victory.
The Jets scored a touchdown on defense (Kerry Rhodes – fumble recovery) and they returned a kickoff for a touchdown (Leon Washington). At the end of the day the Manning brother not named Peyton (Eli) and the running back not named Tiki (Brandon Jacobs) were just no match for Eric Mangini’s Maulers.
They did the best they could. Let’s not lose focus here. Certainly the record as it stands (1 win against 4 losses) is something that they will seek to improve upon. Give them time though, the season is young and they do work hard.
After the loss, in which Chad Pennington threw 3 interceptions, JetNation.com reported that the Kellen Clemens would be named the new starter. Since we have no contacts or inside info, this announcement doesn’t mean all that much. We will place a call to Eric Mangini to let him know about this change. Further updates on this matter will be communicated to you directly from the Jets.
Stay tuned for the JetNation.com Report Card.
