Jets Sign Revis
The Jets have signed their first round pick, CB Darrelle Revis. NFL.com is reporting that it is a 6 year deal worth 36 million. The Jets had insisted on a 6 year deal which delayed negotiations because Revis wanted a 5 year deal. The shorter deal would allow Revis to reach free agency sooner.
Revis will be in camp tomorrow. He will compete with Justin Miller for a starting position at CB. Andre Dyson has the other CB spot locked up. Stay tuned for the press conference transcript which we will post once it is released. Discuss this and more in our forums.
