Jetnation Week Fourteen Picks
By Nick FerraroÂ
Bills at Jets (-3.5)
The Bills have played well of late against solid competition. They dropped a field-goal game against the Chargers, beat the Jaguars, and played the Colts to within one point in Indy. The Bills and Jets have split their season series for the last three years, but this season is different. The Jets have too much momentum, and the line is too short given the motivation the Jets have in mounting a playoff run. Jets 21 Buffalo 13
Colts (-1) at Jaguars
The perception is that the Jaguars always play well against the Colts. The reality is that the Colts are 9-2 all time against the Jaguars. The Jags play well at times, and they played well in the first half of the first meeting this season in Indianapolis. They completely dominated the initial thirty minutes in their week-three matchup. Where the Jags come up short is in their inability to create any separation. Despite controlling the first half, the Jags went to halftime tied 7-7. They just don’t and will not score enough to win. Colts 24 Jaguars 14
Bears (-6) at Rams
Grossman’s poor play of late has this line way out of whack. The Rams just aren’t good enough to take advantage of the Bear’s struggling offense. In addition, the Rams struggle to protect Bulger in the passing game, and that’s bad news when the Bears come to town. Bears 27 Rams 9
