Jets at Packers (even)
The Jets have to be concerned about the weather in this one. Right now the “experts are calling for snow and strong winds. A bad weather day is meaningless to Favre, but very meaningful for Pennington. Chad’s lack of arm strength on a windy day will give the Pack a decided advantage. The Jets are the better team though; and they should find a way to win regardless of the conditions. I like the Jets in a close one if it’s nasty outside. If the Jets get a break on the weather, they should notch a 10-point win.

Lions at Patriots (-13.5)
The Lions are a pathetic mess. They couldn’t stay close to Miami at home on Thanksgiving, and they haven’t won a road game all season. They aren’t going to reverse that trend this week. The Powder Puff schedule is officially reinstated for New England after a one-week hiatus.Â

Buccaneers at Steelers (-7)
The Steelers season officially entered the toilet last week in embarrassing fashion. This team has too much talent and too much pride not to follow up that debacle with a solid effort at home. Factor in that the Bucs are just flat out bad, and this one will be over early.
