Jets Fail To Take Off, Lose To Bears
The Chicago Bears beat the NY Jets 10 – 0 today in the Meadowlands. It was a tale of two teams for New York who now stand at 5 and 5. The Defense played inspired ball and pitched a shutout for the first half. The offense on the other hand could not get any points on the board, despite being able to move the ball at times. Chad Pennington threw an Interception in the end zone as the Jets appeared to be going in for the score.Â
The only scoring drives for Chicago came in the 3rd quarter (field goal) and a 57 yard TD pass in the 4th Quarter. Drew Coleman missed a tackle and had no safety help as WR Mark Bradley took the pass from Rex Grossman the distance.
