Jets Beat Patriots 17 – 14
The Jets today came back from the bye week and put together their most solid performance of the year. They beat the New England Patriots 17 – 14 in Foxboro. The Jets had lost the previous seven meetings. Apparently someone forgot to tell the Jets that they were over 10 point underdogs today. If you watched the action on the field, you would not have known.
Â
Chad Pennington stepped up and played a good game under bad conditions (rain). The game balls on offense go to Kevan Barlow (17 – 75 – 1 TD) and Jerricho Cotchery (6 – 70 – 1 TD). The real story is the Jets defense. They came out focused and were clearly more aggressive. They blitzed often and were able to get to Brady (4 sacks).Â

Stay tuned for the JetNation report card. The players will be happy with the grades this week. They worked hard and it shows.
