NY Jets Tailgating Series (Ice.edu)
The NY Jets and the Institute of Culinary Education have announced a second season of the Jets cooking school.
I’m very excited to team up with ICE for a second season of the Jets Cooking School,” said New York Jets Offensive Lineman Willie Colon. “This year’s classes will be bigger and better and will help Jets fans take their tailgating to the next level. I look forward to working with ICE’s outstanding chefs and the amazing fans that participate to help make these delicious recipes.
Here is some more information on the program:
The New York Jets and the Institute of Culinary Education invite you to The Official Jets Cooking School, presented by Chase, a series of exclusive tailgate and game day cooking classes. Fans, bring your appetite and learn to create gourmet gameday dishes with ICE’s team of all-pro chefs. In addition to cooking, don’t miss the opportunity to meet current and former Jets players and Flight Crew Cheerleaders. Every class during the 2013 season sold out, so be sure to register early and join the roster!
New this season, attend any class and receive an ICE exclusive VIP Jets Experience. This VIP experience with purchase includes a once in a lifetime behind-the-scenes tour of MetLife Stadium, gameday home of the New York Jets. Your guided tour will include a visit to some of the stadium’s premium spaces as well as the press box, Jets team locker room and more. Don’t leave without taking a walk on the very same field your favorite Jets play on each season. The only way to be a part of this unique and unrivaled experience is to register to attend any Jets Cooking School class this season.
This year’s class roster includes:

Thanksgiving with a Tailgate Twist: Monday, November 17 at 8pm at ICE

Tailgate Tennessee-Style with Southern Comfort Classics: Monday, December 8 at 7pm at ICE
As the Jets prepare to take on the Tennessee Titans on December 15, fans will learn to prepare the ultimate Southern Comfort classics for the game. From shrimp and grits to the perfect fried chicken and more, Jets players will help their “gang green” bring the dishes to the end zone.
